Our Journey

Founded on March 30, 2016, by the visionary Sunny Jubayer, Atlas Robotics Academy started as a modest initiative with an ambitious goal: to elevate the robotics, mechanical, and IT sectors of Bangladesh to new heights. Over the years, our academy has grown exponentially, driven by a passion for robotics and a commitment to excellence. Today, we are a beacon of knowledge and a hub for aspiring roboticists.

Our Mission

What We Do

At Atlas Robotics Academy, we offer a wide range of programs and activities to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our students:

• Teamwork and R&D: Collaborative projects and research endeavors are at the heart of our academy. We encourage students to work together, share knowledge, and push the boundaries of what is possible.

• STEAM Robotics: Our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) robotics programs integrate interdisciplinary learning, fostering creativity and critical thinking.

• Training and Seminars: We provide comprehensive training and host seminars on various topics, including robotics, programming, machine learning, IoT, and more. Our training sessions are designed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge.

• Innovative Projects: From Mars rovers to underwater autonomous robots, our students have the opportunity to work on a wide array of cutting-edge projects. Our notable projects include the Atlas Mars Rover, Farmover (a farming robot), BrainBot (an AI-based research robot), Atlas-UV1 (an underwater autonomous robot), Alpha 21 (a fire rescue robot), and Sigma 20 (a fire rescue robot).

• Competitions: We prepare our students to participate in local and international competitions, providing them with the experience and confidence needed to excel on the global stage.

• Winning the first technical medal for Bangladesh at the International Robotics Olympiad 2018 in the Philippines.

• Securing the Gold Medal at the Bangladesh Robot Olympiad 2019.

• Earning the Gold Medal at the International Science and Innovation Fair 2023 in Indonesia.

• Ranking 13th among 250 teams in the robo race segment of the World Robotics Championship 2019 in New Delhi, India.

• Receiving the Bronze Medal at the International Robot Olympiad 2019 in Thailand.

• Placing 20th among 500 teams in the submarine contest of the Singapore AUV Challenge 2019 at the University of Singapore.

• Achieving 1st Runner-up at Techkriti 2023 at IIT Kanpur, India.

• Winning the Champion title at BEC Robo Mania 2023 at BUBT.

• Securing 1st Runner-up at Mechchallenge 1.0 at AUST.
